Superleague Formula

Even though he’s busy getting all manner of things related to Superleague Formula organised, here’s a note from Robin who’s been taking the time to read the various discussions ans debates on the blog and wanted to post a response:

“In the end, fans will either love Superleague Formula or not. We have no wish to persuade one way or the other but we believe – we know – that many people will come to the races or watch it on TV… and we’re absolutely sure it will be like nothing else!

On a more general point, we do understand there is a real thirst for information and that everybody wants to know everything right now.

However, we decided long ago that we would only release facts about SF, rather than our hopes and intentions, which means that we make sure the ink is dry on any contractual relationship before announcing it.

This can be really frustrating as we have so much to say and to share, but we are going to stick to our plan. However, the release of ‘facts’ is already starting to accelerate and this website (as ever with SF) will be the first place to hear the latest news and updates as we build up to the first race and the first ever SF season, next year.

Great things come to those who wait… so stick with us and, as always, thanks for all your support.”
