New Clubs Lining Up
Posted by Mike on 13 February, 2008

Following on from the launch in Spain last weekend (see image of Sevilla’s Dani Alves above), there’s a real sense of momentum around SF HQ at the moment with some very exciting announcements in the weeks ahead…
We are in final discussions with an (as yet undisclosed) Italian circuit and, as the English Premier League discusses the merits of going global, we are also definitely in talks with a top English club to participate in ‘the beautiful race’:
“Generally most European clubs are sporting clubs at heart,” says SF boss, Alex Andreu. “Olympiakos for example, has a football team, a basketball team, an athletics team – a huge array of endeavours in 20-odd sports. British clubs are football clubs first and foremost which is one of the reasons why they have been slower to come forward.”
We have also agreed terms with clubs from France, Mexico, Korea, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates – all of which are scheduled to be announced during the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more news!
