    UEFA Cup Final Spot for Rangers

    Congratulations to Rangers FC who are heading to Manchester on 14 May as UEFA Cup finalists after edging Fiorentina out of the running with a 4-2 shoot-out victory in Italy last night.

    For all the home side’s possession and passing, opportunities were rare and so, after 180 minutes (plus extra time) and still no goals, it was Rangers’ Nacho Novo (above) who stepped up to strike the decisive penalty.

    Thanks to some fierce defending and spot kick heroics, Rangers will now play FC Zenit St. Petersburg in the UEFA Cup final. Good luck to all Gers fans from everyone here at SF!
