Rangers SF Car Meets the Fans

Posted by Mike on 6 May, 2008

While the 750 horsepower, V12 powered Superleague Formula car prototype has its first public outing at the Donington Park round of the British Touring Car Championship this weekend, Rangers’ red, white and blue car was also on display ahead of its official unveiling at Ibrox this lunchtime.

Gers fans will also have the chance to see their club’s SF car before the SPL game against Motherwell tomorrow night, and at the Scottish Motor Show event at Knockhill on 12/13 May.

“The Rangers car looks absolutely fantastic,” says SF Competitions Director, Robin Webb. “The reaction we got at Donington Park on the weekend was incredible. “Ever since we announced the club as a Superleague Formula entrant, our office has had a lot of enquires from Rangers fans about coming down for the first race. I’m sure the fans are really looking forward to seeing and hearing it in action.”

More news on Rangers’ SF car’s official unveiling later on…
